Serpentine/Foothills Polocrosse Club, as the name implies, is a polocrosse club located on the foothills of the Darling Escarpment in Serpentine, Western Australia approximately an hour south-east of Perth City.

Our grounds and facilities are located adjacent to the Serpentine Township on the corner of Karnup and Hall Roads with access via Karnup Road. We pride ourselves on having the highest quality of playing fields and as a result of a joint project between our club, the Serpentine Horse & Pony Club, Serpentine/Jarrahdale Shire and the Department of Sport & Recreation we have recently completed construction on lavish new clubrooms.

If you would like to know more about our club, the sport of polocrosse or have questions feel free to contact us.

2008 Polocrosse Season
Monday, 17 March 2008

Big News! The Foothills Plocrosse Club would like to announce Nungar Trading Co - The Bushmans Outfitters as the major sponsor for the carnival. Steve has very generously donated thousands of dollars worth of vouchers for the range of awards we are going to have on offer! We have also secured some sponsorship from Liliydale Road Rugs, Hopeland Working Kelpie Stud, Kohnke's Own, Australian Stock Horse Society - Central Branch WA and Mitavite. See the forums for more information on all these sponsors and website details .

The first carnival of the main season is the Moonyoonooka Mini Tournament being held on the 28th and 29th of June. The website will be updated regularly with news and results of the carnivals throughout the year. We are also adding more photos all the time! Don't forget there are forums for you to use to post your items for sale, upcoming carnivals etc.

Foothills Polocrosse Carnival April 19th & 20th
Monday, 17 March 2008

The Foothills Polocrosse Club ran their 2nd young horse carnival on a weekend that started with a little rain and ended with a fair bit more! But Saturday was a perfect day for polocrosse and as promised the wind was kept to a minimum! Again the High Achiever Awards were selected by the officiating umpires and congratulations to the following people:

E Grade: Asha Mcguire (Jester's Flat) & Andrew Higgins (Sth Midlands)

D Grade: Jan Walsh (Jester's Flat)

C Grade: Jenny Hall (Sth Midlands)

B Grade: Lizzie Lyster (Foothills)

We were also very pleased to announce the winner of the Most Promising Horse went to our very own Rob Sibley on 'Sharman's Foal' who was bred and broken by John Kukulj and Mandy Dunlop. Click on the Forums link to see more information about the deserving winner!

Thanks to all the teams and clubs that supported us at our carnivals. Capel will hold the last young horse carnival on April 26th & 27th then we can enjoy a well earned break until the main season fires up.
